Beginnings

You won’t hear any incredible piano playing here but I have used it in the development of certain pieces – what a marvelous instrument – all those keys and their potential all laid out before us. It was the first instrument I played with and even though I had no idea what I was doing I had fun. I took some piano lessons in sixth and seventh grade but stopped them way too early. My more formal education in music began learning and playing trombone in the fifth grade band. My parents always supported my music explorations and gave me a classical guitar for Christmas when I was in the eighth grade. My long involvement with stringed instruments had begun. Like so many of my generation, inspired by the Beatles and all the many creative bands and writers of the sixties and on… I was not content until I merged with some like minded crazies and experimented with writing our own music. I hope this site will serve to share some of what developed from those beginnings.
